I've totally gone
through this rust-free baby (my 4th one) which I found out in
Seattle in 02. After driving it up Mt. Ranier, then to Vancouver, I
drove her direct back to Miami. THEN I started "playing" with it.
Pulled out all the glass, trim, etc., Totally filled in the rear
hatch (hated the Horizontal box design) and made it electric.
stripped truck down to metal, then after several months of block
sanding the primer-Painted it Corvette Yellow. Installed new rubber
on all windows. New headliner, new OEM Put some 20" wheels on her.
Rebuilt the 4 wheel system, new axles front and back, new brakes,
lines, complete new AC system, radiator etc. Pulled the360 engine,
cleaned out the bay- painted it black and yellow. On the rebuild of
the engine- bored it out- new Pistons, performance cam, Racing
valves, racing oil pump, Edlebrock manifold, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb.
Chromed the valve covers, pulley wheels, Ceramic headers.. she
RUNS!!! Pretty much a complete new truck from 2005 to now.
