This is my 4th Ramcharger and 5th
dodge truck over all. I bought her from the son of the original
owner this past February. She came with a 360ci w/ 4barrel carb, 727
tranny and a np203 full-time t-case. It also has a dual exhaust and
a 4" rough country lift. Since then i have added the centerline
convo pro 15x10 wheels with Durango 33x12.5/15 M/T tires. Then came
the big changes. the 727/203 are gone in favor of a nv4500 5 speed
manual from a 96 dodge ram 2500 and a dana 300 t-case from a 1986
jeep cj-7. That gives me better off road crawling ability and better
gas mileage. Then came the winch bumper, a junk yard find with new
paint added. then a pioneer deck and speakers were added. The future
will have an efi 360 magnum engine, a 6" lift and bigger rubber,
35-37" or so. a winch and front locker are in the near future,
before a trip to moab in the fall hopefully. In may I did a 1,100
mile round trip run to borrego springs and ocitillo wells. We did
about 70 miles worth of trails while there, all with no problems. We
are fortunate to have many miles of trails here in the Pahrump and
Las Vegas area, with many thousands more in AZ and ca. Next up is
moab.
